Petrozavodsk is very green city, but now, people have too much cars, so city stay all day in jam! Can u help us? We need your help to solve this traffic problem. Today Petrozavodsk is big town with malls, factorys and beatiful parks. The city was founded on 11 September 1703 as Petrovskaya Sloboda by Prince Menshikov at the behest of Peter the Great who needed a new iron foundry for manufacturing cannons and anchors for the Baltic Fleet at the time of the Great Northern War. It stretches along the western shore of the Lake Onega for some 27 kilometers. Petrozavodsk (Petroskoi, Äänislinna in finnish) is the capital of the Republic of Karelia, Russia. This is map about my hometown - Petrozavodsk, very beatiful city near the Russia and Finland border. location: Finland (since no mods are allowed the names are Finish, no Romanian flags or adds, no custom things or goodies) The map will surely give everyone a few good hours of game time, challenges and i say, also fun. In creating the map, I have tried to recreate as much as possible, both the urban areas but also the surrounding villages, towns, industrial areas, farms, recreational parks and all the rest, within the game limits. The city is well known for having the second biggest building in the world, named "House of the people". My name is Stefan (aka stevebone) and i live in The Netherlands but originally, I am from Romania so I thought of making the capital city, Bucharest, for Cities in Motion.īucharest is a very crowded city with a large center and many sub-urban areas that make it more or less a county of its own under the same name. I present you, Bucharest Map for Cities in Motion. Put a ton of detail in and spent a ton of time! Tried to make an allround city. Rivers make metro lines a challenge underground, mountains challenge effective tram lines and spread out seaside development encourages boats as the best option in some cases. All of these developments vary in remoteness and access to water and roads so every type of transport is needed. There are large seperated developments (boardwalk/amusement park, Creekside Town, University and college towns, and a suburban centre), medium developments such as (airport, stadium, port, industrial nodes, resort village, office parks, and canal village) and finally even smaller villages and little developments scattered everywhere which include army bases, subburbs, farm houses, a quarry and much more. The idea is the large city centre which has ample oppurtunity to have tons of lines weaving through it can act as a base which can can tons of branches coming off it.
